What do people expect god to do?
by punkofnice ini was watching the news about the french terrorist attacks.
not getting into that but i notice the media is churning it over a bit, now.
moving switly on; there were prayers for peace reported.. question: what do those praying for peace think that god will actually do about their prayers?.

When the big ''A'' comes and 7.5 billion plus are killed, the JW's will be happy. -

Why do people follow demonstrably False Prophets?
by WireRider inwhy does everyone just turn a blind eye to the false teachings of the watchtower?
the bible warns us many times and in many ways not to follow false prophets - including the lake of fire.
fundamentally why do the followers of the watchtower just ignore the very bible they claim to live by?.

That promise of a ''new world'' looks very appealing. Absolute health, abundance of food, cost-free living, endless like. That promise of ''cheating death'' eternally looks very, very, very appealing by living a living a life of walking on egg shells and living life on a knife's edge -

Review of the November 15 study article - "Stand Firm in the Faith"
by Divergent inthis study article poses questions that we should ask ourselves.
don't have time to analyze the whole thing, so will start from paragraph 8:.
8 do gods promises seem less real to me now than they once did?

Yeah, I always thought that the WT teaches Ransom Sacrifice applies to the anointed and for the sins committed by Adams and Eve. I thought too the WT teaches the Ransom doesn't cover sin inherited by mankind. -

Are the horrendous killings in Paris part of a religious practice?
by clarity inislam is a religion of war, not a religion of peace .
seems there are many religions who do not tolerate other groups.
this statement "islam is a religion of war, not a religion of peace" reminded me of what was said at a watchtower convention in 2013 ....using a chilling example of how they condone dis fellowshipping & the soul killing practice of shunning!

We all must go about our lives wherever we are and not let these things keep us locked in a closet, so to speak. -

It's understandable that people will be drawn to a promise of a perfect world, absolute health endless life. Truly, that's what keeps people in the Borg chasing and living that dream. Cheating death in a way, of sorts, by staying on this extremely narrow path.

Billy and Stuck in a Rut;
Those thoughts were what haunted me when I was at my earliest age of developing critical thinking, I would say as young as 8-years-old.
Thoughts like ''what if the bigA would come and God will kill people like Mother Theressa & then why would God resurrect terrorists and bad people and leave people like Mother Theresa for dead?''
Also thoughts like yours. The thought of as more time goes on, the more and more God has to destroy. Didn't make sense. I guess I could say I developed ''critical-thinking'' skills before age 10,LOL!!!!

I still think somehow that the Borg will somehow mix the Paris terrorist attacks with Babylon the Great the ''Great Harlot'' somehow. I don't think they will mention any Islamic/ISIS groups but they will somehow hint about certain groups targeting civilians per se. -

Loveuni;
You're right. They will probably ratchet down the fear and paranoia with the rank and file. The ''end is ssooooooo close''. ''Please send us your money even more of it, you will no longer need it soon.''' I can see them doing something like this though.

Yeah I can't understand how many more people aren't questioning;
''overlapping generations''
&
''blood fractions''
Just not any rhyme or reason to them both. Either ''generation'' means generation, or ''no blood'' means....no blood!!
